Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was huge and the restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Amazing restaurant with fantastic quality of food. The staff are super efficient and friendly. We stayed for one night and the accommodation was excellent. Very cosy courtyard accommodation. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of great choices. We had only booked for one night which we regretted so we drove back the following evening for dinner again! Highly recommended.

Stayed to watch open in St Andrews, easy commute 15 mins. Room was clean, large, big bathroom all good, restaurant very popular so pre book. This is a restaurant with rooms upstairs and very good

From first arriving to leaving, first class service throughout. Our room was beautiful, great night sleep, very comfortable bed. Breakfast full table service, and lovely cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if in area.

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful room! Breakfast was absolutely delicious as was dinner.

My second time staying at The Waterfront. Room and ensuitebathroom very clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, great breakfast. Looking forward to my next stay!

We arrived almost at midnight and the team was really helpful with the late check in instructions. Very comfortable room and nice breakfast, quick stay but perfect for a golf trip

Check in no problem.Member of staff was very welcoming & helpful.The room was spotless& had everything we needed.Glad of fan as room got very hot probably due to the radiator in bathroom.Breakfast & evening meal 10/10.All in.

We had a most satisfactory couple of days.Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.Food was excellent, traditional cuisine at its best.Bed huge, inviting and most comfortable.Windows opened so we could appreciate call of gulls and sea breezes.

The Waterfront was perfect for a stop on the way to the Highlands.Great Staff good Rooms .Can thoroughly recommend.

Excellent stay. Had a lovely single room in the Bakehouse and was of a really high standard. Bed comfy, TV great, super bathroom etc.The best part was the customer service throughout. Could not have been nicer or more attentive. Will definitely return.

We stayed as part of a group of 12 golfers. Wonderful rooms and superb breakfasts. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Could park straight outside front door. Good pubs and restaurants only yards away. As for my golf ... the less said the better!

Room was perfect, location excellent, parking not so great, had to go way off site and park up at the top of the Town, however, not a problem as we are both fit. Staff were lovely and breakfast delicious. The harbour is busy and provided a great view. Collected some beautiful sea glass / broken pottery pieces at low tide. All in all, we had a really lovely break.

A bit upset with no view of harbour but the floral garden's lovely. The staff are excellent friendly and helpful. The food was as usual excellent especially the breakfast selections but then again the food is always excellent at the Waterfront whenever we've eaten there. Our only complaint is parking, and I have a blue badge, but my husband moved the car out of the car park prior to 8am every morning,to ensure we did not get penalties.

We had a lovely stay here and would come again. The restaurant was also very good. We choose to eat there . Breakfast was also very good. All the staff very welcoming.

Hi,we enjoyed our stay at the waterfront.what i liked..... great location,really reasonably priced accomodation,restaurant had fab food,again reasonably priced and was a very pleasant enviroment.what i didnt think was great and could be improved was the welcome we received on arrival.now we were 10 minutes early but we had had quite a long drive and didnt think it would be much of a hassle arriving at that time but after lugging our luggage from the carwe were told rather abruptly by a young girl that check in was at 2.30 and to go away and come back then.there was no,well,i can check if the room is ready or would you like to sit and have a coffee for 10 minutes,it was honestly just go away and come back!!so we had to lug our luggage back out and across to the harbour and sit until precisely 2.30 and drag ourselves back over,i felt that this was a bit unnecessary.once we had checked in everyrhing was fine and we had a very lovely stay.maybe a wee word with staff about that would sort that out.

Return visitor to Waterfront. Had a small but lovely twin room which overlooked the rooftops. The room was well appointed with ample refreshment tray and bottled water. We sat outside the restaurant and enjoyed a pre dinner drink watching the world go by which was lovely. We ate in the restaurant which was very busy. My choice of a chicken dish was disappointing.I realise the Waterfront prides itself on being a fish restaurant- the fish and chips looked lovely but I dont eat fish. The ice cream was also full of ice. Had a much better experience the previous night at the Bank Restaurant.

Comfortable, large rooms, everyone super nice, breakfast good! Nice location just off the main street, rooms were hot even with windows open, and my daughters sheet had blood on it when we arrived, managed to grab a replacement sheet before everyone left for the night. Overall good place to stay

Absolutely over the moon with the waterfront guest house, fantastic hospitality from start to finish, beautiful rooms very clean and well presented, fantastic food served in house by very well mannered staff, booking for next year shortly.

Rooms were clean & comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The staff and service were great. Would recommend and stay there again.

Had a great one night stay here. Our room D was amazing with stunning views. Around 20 stairs to get to it- but with a split landing- you can catch your breath if you have mobility issues. The views of the harbour are just beautiful. Our dinner was scrumptious and our breakfast very satisfying. All the staff were very friendly but professional. We will definitely be back again before the end of the year.

Beautiful and perfect

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Waterfront….the views from our room were sensational, the superior harbour view room…the breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly…booked to go again for two nights in September…and it is a fantastic base to visit all the beautiful places nearby….can’t wait to go back! We stayed and eat at The Waterfront Hotel and it didn't disappoint, the room over looked the harbor which was a great view to wake up in the morning too.Even though the restaurant was busy all the staff are super friendly and always had time for a catch, our room was directly above the busy restaurant but the sound proofing meant we didn't hear a thing.

Wonderful young staff. Excellent food. Booked again for September.

The hotel and restaurant occupy a prime location on Shore Drive right in front of the harbor. We are the included breakfast at the restaurant and it was quite good. The menu is extensive and the food is prepared well.The room we stayed in (The Grainery #4) had a king bed with 2 bunk beds with signs on them asking us not to use them. There is one small window which we opened as wide as we could, but we were never able to get cool fresh air inside. Consequently we had a very warm night which is a shame because the weather outside was actually quite lovely. Do beware that most rooms do not have a view to the sea, many are upstairs, and none have elevators.The listing says that it includes free parking. In the words of the young lady that showed us our room, “That’s a lie.” There is short term pay parking (bring coins or download the app to pay with a card) right across the street and long term pay parking down the road on the other side of the harbor. We drove around and found free street parking, but I’d pity the fellow with a lot of luggage - or mobility issues.

The stay at The Waterfront was beautiful and just perfect for our family. The room was quiet, a lot of space for us five an the dinner at the restaurant very tasty. a realy nice breakfast. We wish to come along again! CU!
